It was my Mom’s funeral yesterday. With tears in my eyes I would like to thank each and everyone, who stopped in their tracks, bowed their heads, gentlemen who took their hats off, cars that stopped other cars from cutting us up. If you were one of these people thank you so much, for bringing back respect, I cant speak for my family but it certainly helped me to know people still care. Beechwood Funeral Services were recommended to us by a friend. When we spoke to them they were very friendly and professional. They came to our home and walked us through the process and never tried to sell us anything we didn’t want. Their prices are very good, saving us over £1000 in comparison to another funeral director.
On the day, Jan (the Director) walked in front of the hearse round our estate and again when we reached the crematorium (which we had not asked for but was a lovely touch). He also conducted a non religious service, which fitted in with the wishes of my step dad. Everyone that attended the service commented on how well it was conducted.
I would highly recommend this company over the larger ones in the Cheltenham and Gloucester areas.

We as a family cannot give enough praise to Beechwood Funeral services, after the sudden loss of our dear Mother we were thrown into the realms of the unknown arranging her funeral at a time which was one of the most difficult times in our lives.
Feeling out of our depth in shock and in grief, we were fortunate to select Beechwood and met with Jan the Owner/Director and Angie his right hand lady, they guided us through every step and gave all of the advice that we needed in a very sensitive way, covering every option availible to us.
We were able to give mum a send off that she would have been very proud of, which is testiment to beechwood, Jan officiated the funeral and seemed to have every essence of mum in his final words, we cannot thank and recommend Beechwood Funeral services enough, they are a family run business, and the final cost was much lower than we anticipated, there was also no pressure at any stage and every request we had was met in very fine detail.

During the countries awful time with the covid19 jan dealt with my cousins funeral with the upmost respect and professionalism! Any thought of the fact that he could have got unwell him self stood and chatted to us afterwards and gave my auntie a massive cuddle, unfortunately 5 days after my cousin was laid to rest our grampy passed away and we never had a doubt in our mind that it would be jan we turned to again.
